Let's Grow Fungi!

Coffee grounds and tea leaves are an abundant food waste on campus and just so happen to be suitable substrates for growing edible mushrooms. They are nitrogen rich and have an aerated texture. By collecting coffee and tea grounds from businesses on campus, RCG economically reduces food waste and grows mushrooms for the community.
